Awareness, advocacy, prevention, and aftercare are essential in the fight against human trafficking, and we honor the organizations and individuals who lead these efforts daily. We especially recognize the value of quality and comprehensive aftercare services provided throughout the healing journey. Without safe, long-term aftercare, intervention alone is not enough. But awareness and education alone cannot remove a child from an exploitative situation; Prevention alone cannot reach someone who is already trapped; And even the best aftercare cannot begin until a survivor is safely out.

There is a critical gap between knowing trafficking exists and intervening to help someone escape it. 

This is where Gideon's Army operates. We provide direct, action-oriented intervention that helps survivors leave their exploitative environments.

*All activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and in direct coordination with appropriate authorities and vetted non-profit/NGO partner organizations, as required and necessary. Gideon's Army does not authorize, encourage, or condone illegal actions. At no point in time does Gideon's Army conduct unlicensed security, paramilitary, vigilante, or otherwise unlawful activities. 
Service 1 - Survivor Exit Planning & Safe Transport

We provide quick-response, survivor-centered exit planning to help individuals leave their exploitative environment. Our dedicated Domestic Rescue Team assists with:

  • Direct outreach

  • Building and executing safe exit strategies

  • Providing no-cost transportation to support services

  • Acting as a supportive presence throughout the relocation process

All assistance is consent-based, peaceful, and focused on preserving the safety, dignity, and autonomy of the survivor. We do not engage in forced removals, arrests, or other illegal actions, and all relocation efforts are conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Service 2 - Law Enforcement Support & Case Building

We work in conjunction with law enforcement and other authorized agencies to strengthen lawful investigation, rescue, and prosecution efforts. Our support includes:

  • Survivor search & identification

  • Digital & physical intelligence gathering

  • Assistance with raid & rescue procedures

  • Post-rescue/raid crisis support for survivors

  • Connecting survivors to aftercare services

All activities are conducted under the direction, oversight, and authorization of law enforcement. Gideon's Army does not conduct independent investigations, raids, or enforcement actions. All prosecutorial and enforcement responsibilities belong solely to law enforcement and the judicial system.
Service 3 - Aftercare Coordination & Continuity of Support

There is no true "rescue" without long-term healing. That's why Gideon's Army maintains a nationwide network of vetted, licensed aftercare providers to ensure survivors receive the support they need. We assist with:

  • Matching survivors to appropriate aftercare services and programs

  • Guiding individuals through the intake process

  • Ensuring continuity of care and ongoing support through our own, internal victim advocacy services

  • Providing free, safe transportation to services

Without aftercare, the risk of re-victimization is high. Our commitment is to walk alongside survivors as they begin their journey toward stability, restoration, and hope.
