past operations - our work

We carry out humanitarian operations designed to assist individuals affected by human trafficking, by helping them connect to safe and supportive services. Each operation is carefully planned with an emphasis on risk assessment & mitigation, discretion, and the protection of all individuals involved. Due to the sensitive nature of this work, we are unable to publicly disclose the details of every operation or the identities of our team members and partners. Maintaining confidentiality is critical to protecting survivors, safeguarding our volunteers, and preserving the integrity of ongoing efforts. For these reasons, the operations highlighted on this page represent only a limited and carefully presented overview of our work. The operations depicted below represent REAL missions that our agents have participated on. Some images may be AI-generated or illustrative to represent the mission while protecting operational details. Such images will be labeled accordingly.

MISSION 1 - thailand 2024

"I served on a joint operation alongside a partner NGO. During this mission, I was tasked with work that included building a blueprint of female-only spaces within a notorious sex trafficking strip club, to better help local police safely prepare for a police raid of the establishment and trafficking network. This information gathered led to the successful recovery of 10 survivors a few months later." - Sarah Fitzgerald, Task Force Lead

MISSION 2 - SOUTHEAST ASIA 2025

Our founder Jacob served on two major missions during 2025 - a direct raid/rescue, and aftercare services. Jacob assisted law enforcement and partner NGOs with information gathering work that led to the recovery of 36 adults and 11 children. Additionally, Jacob supported a partner NGO that runs a safe house for child survivors, by directly volunteering with the shelter and caring for the children. Jacob has plans to assist this aftercare organization with the construction and refurbishing of their new shelter facilities in the near future.

Mission 3 - TEXAS, U.S.A 2025

"We were dispatched by Gideon's Army leadership and attached to a partner non-profit organization in Texas. During this 5-day joint operation, our job was to observe and document employees, patrons, and vehicles that frequented a massage parlor. The parlor was suspected of sex trafficking women. We provided mounted, mobile and stationary surveillance. We provided key evidence that resulted in the arrest of 6 suspects by local law enforcement. We look forward to other cooperative operations in the near future."

MISSION 4 - Caribbean, 2026

Several Gideons Army volunteers recently participated in a multi-week joint operation in the Caribbean, assisting law enforcement and partner NGOs with locating stash houses, where trafficked women and children are held. Volunteers were extremely successful in gathering this vital data and disseminating it to the proper authorities and strategic partner leadership.
